It is recommended for each applicant to make an appointment with the photo professors in good time prior the submission of the portfolio, to have enough time for possible optimizing of the portfolio and to avoid mistakes. Apart from that, the professors emphasize to get to know potential applicants before the entrance test.

Please be on time for these appointments, as general questions on the studies and the application portfolio are answered only in the first part of the counseling interview. Afterwards, the respective professor will review the works and give feedback.

The student advisory service of the Department of Photography will take place on Tuesdays on the following dates at 2 p.m. on the 4th gallery:

Please register on time by sending an e-mail to lars.bauernschmitt(at)fh-hannover.de. Please do not come unannounced. Otherwise the date might be cancelled if there are not enough advance notifications. With your announcement via e-mail, you are registered for the student advisory service! There will be no registration confirmation. The advisory service takes place on the 4th gallery of the atrium of the Design Center (Expo Plaza 2, 30539 Hannover, Germany; station "Messe/Ost (Expo-Plaza)" / free parking in the street "Sidney Garden").
